Return to Ostagar review…

Posted in General on February 2nd, 2010 by Darkside Six

Well, it was incredibly short, but you still get Maric’s Sword as well as Cailain’s armor. There are voice overs and several cutscenes. Overall, not bad for the five dollars and does mention a hint of Orlais… The Awakening anyone?

If it wasn’t for this level track right here, this game could burn in righteous fire.

Dragon Age: Origins expansion announced!

Posted in General on January 15th, 2010 by Darkside Six

Well, EA announced not too long ago of their new expansion release for Dragon Age: Origins called “The Awakening.” As a result of this, they’ve postponed the release of the “Return to Ostagar” DLC that I was hoping to get. Interesting. Furthermore, it seems they’re setting sights on roughly two years worth of DLC content, with of course, possibilities of expansions. Personally, I’ve a feeling this is going the route of NWN, and with the engine and flexibility it has utilizing modern technology, it will last for years to come.
